THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kitima Restaurant Review:
We enjoy the titles they place on some of the dishes---i.e. The Evil Prince of a Wild Jungle for a plate of three succulent prawns dressed with a magnificent curry sauce. We wish, however, that the portions were larger, given the high prices. The look of the restaurant is quite contemporary and rather spare, but by way of compensation, diners can see the blue Pacific outside the windows. The plates, too, are quite colorful, and Kitima deserves praise for the effort it makes with garnishes. In addition to such house specialties as the spicy seafood sauté called Twist and Shout,' there are such old reliables as beef satay skewers with peanut sauce, grilled chicken flavored with lemon grass, and an assortment of noodle dishes.
