La Cage aux Sports Spheretech Restaurant Review:
Vintage NHL jerseys, a ten-foot mural of legendary hockey player Maurice “The Rocket” Richard and other memorabilia set the scene at this sprawling sports bar that’s part of a Quebec chain. Three giant screens and numerous TVs mean that dedicated fans won’t miss any games as they wash down fresh popcorn, cheese sticks, bruschetta or nachos with a Canadian-brewed Molson’s. The 9-1-1 Buffalo chicken wings, served in a basket with a pungent blue cheese sauce, live up to the spice hype. Mains such as barbecue chicken, flame-grilled steaks and burgers are dependable and come in hefty portions. Many combos are accompanied by thin (but not so crispy, Québec-style) fries, creamy coleslaw and a soft bun. Pizzas, club sandwiches, several wraps and salads, including an uninspired Caesar, round out the menu.
