La Fonda Latina Restaurant Review

: Bright, casual and with a semi-sheltered patio, this easygoing restaurant is perfect for enjoying a sangrĂa and a queso fundido after work. Salads are generous and constructed with fresh greens; the version combining grilled pork, mango and peppers is a value. We didn't care for the too-sweet dressing offered on the side, but the kitchen will provide oil and vinegar on request. Cuban sandwiches and grilled fare along with decent Spanish paella are available, and a raft of quesadillas, burritos, a few tacos and some enchiladas round out the Mexican contribution. Chunky, tomato-and-onion-flecked salsa is prepared in-house, and the freshly made, rough-textured guacamole may be one of the city's best. Check out the home-style flan for dessert, and enjoy a Mexican beer with your meal. Other locations.
