THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Blanc Restaurant Review:
Every night a different singer graces the stage, and Friday is Charles Biddle Jr.’s night, one of Montreal’s big names in jazz. Other nights see notable artists in jazz, soul-funk, lounge, and R&B step onstage to entertain diners. Le Blanc's menu looks to the classics to achieve its top shelf jazz and restaurant concept. Try the pan-fried escargots with blue cheese and endive; rack of lamb encrusted in herbs, napped with cider sauce; or fettuccine with Cognac, prosciutto and mushrooms in a rosé sauce. Litchi martinis are a specialty. Located on a stretch of Blvd. St. Laurent that has seen many restaurants of its sort come and go over the years, Le Blanc opened its doors almost a decade ago and is still going strong. Weekday lunches are agreeably priced, but be ready to spend well for dinner and entertainment.
