Lit mostly by candlelight, the main dining room is bedecked with wooden tables, exposed brick, a long dark wood bar and other rustic minutiae, making diners feel like they could stay for hours. Factor in a menu that emphasizes French comfort food and you've got a recipe for a long night. The skirt steak, slathered in a potent mushroom sauce, will make your taste buds dance, while the mussels have zing thanks to the tasty broth in which they're served. For one of the best dining deals this side of the Atlantic, come between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for the three-course prix-fixe dinner.
