THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Petit Bistro Restaurant Review:

However diverse the dining scene in Memphis has become, especially in Mexican and Southeast Asian restaurants, the city has always lacked an authentic French bistro. Thanks to chef and owner Brice Graziana, from Grenoble (by way of New Orleans), Le Petit Bistro, where Aubergine once was, fills the niche very nicely. Graziana deftly handles such traditional appetizers as mussels steamed in white wine, onion soup, and a simple pâté served, in time-honored fashion, with mustard, cornichons and salad. Look no farther for a crisp and juicy roasted chicken, subtle trout amandine or, perhaps best, succulent pork tenderloin lapped with an apricot, prune and Armagnac sauce, served with garlic-parsley sautéed potatoes. Desserts at Le Petit Bistro will evoke memories of that little restaurant you discovered in Paris. Seductive tarte Tatin, with glistening, almost caramelized apples; crème caramel and rich profiteroles topped with luscious chocolate sauce speak for themselves. Graziana has assembled a short but sensible wine list that features not only good choices but also reasonable prices.
