Lemongrass Restaurant Review:

At some restaurants on The Strip there is hardly any distinction between the dining area and the lobby or casino, but Lemongrass at Aria Resort & Casino is nestled away from the hustle and bustle. A woven pattern of long ropes divides the sleek bar and lounge from the dining room dressed in soothing tan and brown tones. The focus is on Thai fare, but dim sum and dishes from other parts of Asia make appearances. In addition to the à la carte menu, there’s a signature four-course tasting menu ($59, plus $29 for beverage pairings) and a three-course early evening menu from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. ($39, plus $19 for beverage pairings). Start off with a selection from the satay grill before continuing with pad thai, yellow curry with chicken, or chili sea bass. The spice level of the salads, most of the soups and a few other dishes can be customized on a scale from 1-10, ranging from mild to extremely hot. Among the desserts, you’ll find coconut ice cream with sticky rice. Sip on Thai iced tea, Chang beer from Thailand or cocktails like the Ginger Peach made with black tea-infused Absolut Apeach vodka and Domaine de Canton. While its prices are higher than at your neighborhood Thai spot, overall Lemongrass offers decent value in a sophisticated atmosphere with good service.
