The atmosphere at Lincoln Park is like a warm hug embracing all those who walk through the doors. Chef and co-owner Steve Simmons’ California comfort food pairs well with the carefully curated wine list by co-owner Holly Bragman. Be sure to try the Korean chicken skin chicharron that comes in a paper filled cone and is crisp and savory. Sunchoke chips are breaded and shallow fried and are served in a puddle of apple purée and chili sauce. Simmons adds some Southern traditions with chicken and waffles then goes all healthy with kale salad that includes sweet potatoes and blueberries. Don’t miss the cheese plate filled with local farmstead cheeses, honey and fruits, and be sure to save room for the creamy chocolate pudding.
