THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Little Lou's BBQ Restaurant Review:
Barbecue fans from all around Los Gatos and neighboring cities flock to Lou's to enjoy barbecue dishes and tasty all-American sides. But newcomers might need directions before they try to locate the place. Lou's is a true hole-in-the-wall; a small storefront with just six tables tucked away in the corner of Village Square. The main appeal is the homemade sauce, a delightfully thick mix that is sweetened with brown sugar. Start with the sides, such as the crispy coleslaw and the molasses-thick barbecued beans. The beef and the pork ribs are the most popular orders, but the fiery hot link is possibly the best item on the menu. Lou's also serves a mighty fine cheeseburger, especially when it’s topped with that famed barbecue sauce. Wednesday through Friday from 4 p.m. until close there is an all-you-can-eat spareribs special; slow-roasted prime rib is the draw on Monday night; and the weekdays’ Hungry Man Lunch---a quarter of a chicken, two sides, garlic bread, and a soda for under $6---is one of the best deals in town.
