“Nondescript dining hall” would describe the style of décor in this Szechuan establishment. But who cares? Staff does their best to take care of patrons, and the dishes are so good and so generously portioned, atmosphere doesn't matter. We like either of the two cold noodle preparations, as well as the myriad spicy vegetable dishes; we also suggest opting for the brown rice instead of the white rice. Moo shu may not be Szechuan, but it's tasty, especially the vegetable version. Hot and spicy dishes are clearly indicated, and comprise at least a third of the menu; a few selections are authentically challenging, such as "Fish sliced with pig's blood in fine pot." Keep in mind that many items are available in two portion sizes. Don't look for dessert or alcohol. Instead, enjoy a fine hot tea with this fare. Delivery is available within a mile or two of the restaurant with a $10 minimum order.
