This old drugstore turned Italian eatery finds Catherine de Zagon Louy and her husband, François, serving Tuscan fare from an open kitchen. Wine bottles from small vineyards line the pharmacy’s shelves. With the selection of olives alone---marinated, cured, umbrine, belle di cerignola---one is confronted with the passion that effuses from the kitchen. Lamb prosciutto with pear and rosemary marmalade tempts the taste buds with salty and sweet while the wild boar carpaccio with roasted mushrooms will whet your appetite for the main course. Black pepper cavatelli with porcini mushrooms is fresh and filling and the seafood "guazzetto" with Sicilian blood oranges is a gourmet-size feast of mussels, clams, calamari, shrimp and leeks. Locanda is a secret you may be tempted to keep for yourself.
