This simple trattoria replaces two other simple trattorias. Both were successful, so good Italian food is obviously a neighborhood need. One of the venues moved and the owners of the other decided to concentrate on another project. Here you will find soft polenta with a mushroom rag? and mascarpone, a solid salad enlivened with a blood orange vinaigrette. Chef Aaron Peters makes the most of seasonal fare such as an asparagus risotto and several dishes with artichokes in the spring. Desserts are not fussy and also highlight the seasons through fruit.
