Tucked away in a small strip mall, Lola sports a glass case full of tempting sweets to accompany your cup of hot tea, coffee or chocolate. But if you are looking for a more substantial repast, consider a slice of the quiche (ham and cheese, corn, or a torta Pascualina, for example), a crêpe, or a sandwich on ciabatta or baguette. You can also indulge in one of three different empanada fillings, but since these turnovers are small, you may want to order the trio. For dessert, both the ricotta cake and the quince pie are unique. But if you really want to splurge, order the whole rogel, a cake layered with dulce de leche.
