The service can be excruciatingly slow here, so make sure you have time for a leisurely meal before you sit down. If you sit on the patio out front, you have a nice view across the parking lot of Libbey Park with its fountain and trees. A taste from the tequila bar will take the edge off tired service and lackluster food. Glasses range in quality and price from $3-$45 per shot. Margaritas are made with fresh juices in the traditional lime or the not-so-traditional mango, orange or strawberry versions. The seafood tacos made with red snapper and homemade tartar sauce are a solid bet. The burritos, filled with your choice of meat like carne asada, chicken marinated in annatto, or pork in chile verde sauce, are large and a great value at $6. Vegetarians have plenty of options here, including the unusual potato taquitos with rice and beans on the side. Salads are nice low-carb options with grilled meat or sautéed shrimp.
