Los Reyes Restaurant Review:
Los Reyes is worth the trek to North Charleston if you’re hankering for a really authentic taco a la parilla. With whatever meat you choose, the fresh pico de gallo and cilantro make this a refreshing standby for those who’ve actually eaten a taco from a roadside stand south of the border. More fleshed-out dishes that feature whole fried fish, beef steaks and spicy shrimp anchor a main menu that also offers the expected burrito and enchilada combos famous for their heavy “I ate an anvil” side effect. Add the gargantuan frosty mug of Dos Equis or a stemmed bowl of margarita, and your bargain fiesta is complete.
