![]() : This dimly lit former tavern is overseen by Mama Luchita Galindo, who prepares foods of Northern Mexico and her hometown, Mexico City. There are no frills, but the food is tasty and the service is warm and friendly. We suggest starting with the guacamole a la mango, spiked with mango, jícama and chipotle pepper. Main courses change frequently to take advantage of the seasons, but favorites include the chiles rellenos and the filete al chipotle. Luchita’s drinks list includes margaritas (by the glass or pitcher), a full selection of Mexican beers, and pitchers of refreshing sangría. |
