THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lulu's Restaurant Review:
If there were a prize for New Orleans most misplaced restaurant, Lulus would win by a landslide. Smack dab in the middle of the French Quarter, inhabiting a tiny space along one of the neighborhoods most charming alleyways, Lulus serves no gumbo, no muffalettas, no etouffée. Its like placing Bubba Gumps Shrimp Company in the Garden District. No matter: Lulus is a gem for locals and a wonderful break for tourists bogged down in Creole cuisines heavy sauces, dark rouxs and fried everything. The lunch menu includes unique salads made with all varieties of sprouts, shrimp BLTs with Creole mustard, and an egg salad sandwich of the day made with locally lain eggs.
