While the blue-walled room of this Greenwood Mexican restaurant looks small upon entry, further exploration will lead you to the back room, which is also a metaphor for this place in general. With the looks of an average run-of-the-mill family Mexican restaurant, Luna Azul goes above and beyond, with as much as possible made in-house, including the horchata and the tortillas for the quesadillas. Rich, subtle pozole is the cure for the winter blues, while sharp, bright seafood aguachiles are summer in a glass. Cocktails like the mango chamoy are the right way to go for drinks (and, to be honest, dessert), a frozen glass of mango mixed with a savory Mexican fruit sauce and a spice-laden rim.
