Don't look for this hip Italian restaurant at 28 Madison Ave. It's at 72 Madison Ave near 28th Street, but look for it as part of the influx of upscale dining establishments in the Gramercy/Madison Square Park food neighborhood. It's a big soaring, handsome space with windows onto the street and features a wood-burning pizza open that turns out reasonably good pizza. There are excellent pastas and good fish---you know the routine. Still, the potential is here.
