THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Mama D's Italian Kitchen Restaurant Review:
They don't take reservations at this small neighborhood spot, which is usually packed with enthusiastic locals and their kids. If you enjoy hearty Italian cuisine --- garlic-accented steamed mussels, baked clams, creamy marinara-sauced pasta, homemade ravioli and hearty lasagna --- it's worth the wait. The pizza is traditional Neapolitan with a medium-thin crust and your choice of toppings. Dieters can choose from a few light dishes listed on the menu. There’s no corkage fee Monday through Thursday, and it’s only $7 Friday through Sunday. There is also a location of Mama D's Italian Kitchen in Newport Beach, which is operated by the owner's brother.
