THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mangiafuoco Restaurant Review:
This small corner restaurant serves credible Italian specialties at good prices. A wood-fired oven spans half a wall (Mangiafuoco means fire eater) and yields some of the best dishes on the menu: Try the Sonoma lamb chops with a mustard and huckleberry sauce, or the fettuccine with seafood baked in parchment paper. An outstanding risotto, featherweight gnocchi and good pasta dishes round out the offerings. The décor is charmingly hip, with bright miniature lamps circling the room. A mostly Italian wine list covers the bases.
