THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Margaritas Restaurant Review:

Even if the food wasn’t tasty, Margaritas would be worth the visit to enjoy its patio setting on a tree-lined avenue in the inner city. This neighborhood does not take itself too seriously, so the eatery, with its plastic tables and chairs on a painted concrete deck, fits right in. Inside, décor is slightly more elaborate with wood booths and benches draped in colorful Mexican fabric. Chef Raul Corona from Mexico City cooks up cuisine from his home country that can satisfy both North American and Latino tastes. Chunky, fresh guacamole is served in a volcanic rock bowl with house-made tortilla chips and salsa. There is also a barbecued “Mexican-style” corn. Pulled chicken tacos with chipotle adobo sauce is a fine representation of traditional Mexican flavors. Calamares Fritos features tender squid served with a jalapeño dip. Thirteen dollars will get you a hearty serving of burrito, chimichanga or enchilada. More fanciful dishes include crispy crunch chicken flautas or huevos rancheros.
