Market, located in the sleek W Boston, goes way beyond the traditional hotel restaurant, playing on the concept of "hotel as home." Moreover, the food dances on the edge of adventurousness without being off-putting. The bright, open dining area resembles a comfortable living room, and features a tasting menu with wine pairing, “simply cooked” seafood and chops, and specialty dishes like slow-cooked salmon with cherry tomatoes and crispy rice in a miso-yuzu broth. A pre-theatre three-course menu is also available. We enjoy the peppier lounge offerings, like salmon tartare and a grilled cheese with black truffle and Fontina. Finish by indulging in the salted caramel ice cream sundae topped with peanuts, popcorn and chocolate sauce. There's a simple cocktail list and house-made sodas, perfect for sipping near the smoldering indoor fire pit.
