Nordstrom’s Marketplace Café is a stylishly designed space rimmed with pinpoint lighting that casts a warm glow over the fine woods, leather-and-fabric banquettes and comfortable tables. Grab a tray and move down the line to choose your selection. Stick with the salads, such as the grilled chicken Caesar, or a bowl of tomato-basil soup. Panini and baked-to-order pizzas also are good bets, as are the offerings on the kids’ menu. You can get a glass of decent wine and organic iced tea as well, along with serviceable desserts.
