This venue is most apropos of dining in Naples. There's a view of the water. The menu emphasizes seafood. Locals like the New England atmosphere (this restaurant has its roots in Rhode Island), so there is often a meeting or wedding or reunion going on here. Starters include New England clam chowder and steamed littleneck clams as well as escargot, oysters, lobster ravioli and Maxwell's crab cakes. Entrées include nut-crusted grouper baked and drizzled with a ginger-citrus sauce. Another creative selection is scallops Napoleon---pan-seared scallops placed atop a grilled portobello mushroom, oven-dried tomatoes and sliced potatoes and asparagus, finished with a Grand Marnier beurre blanc. A local favorite is Veal & Shrimp Maxwell's, escallops of veal sautéed with jumbo shrimp in herb butter and accented with a light Marsala cream sauce.
