At the heart of restaurant row, McGrath's Pub offers hearty Irish specialties, from crisply-fried and flaky fish 'n' chips to cottage shepherd’s pie. American mentions include Angus reserve Delmonico steak, 16-ounce on the bone, and espresso-chipotle braised beef short ribs. Main course salads such as Guinness-licked barbecue chicken or greens topped with flat-iron steak are popular as well. Desserts tempt with the likes of oatmeal cranberry cookies and an Irish cream cheesecake with whiskey caramel glaze. Guinness pours freely on tap, as do a variety of micro, domestic and imported brews. Upstairs, the small deck is open on Thursdays and Fridays.
