: Pizza, sandwiches and an enhanced focus on healthy options, including tofu and temper, are the hallmarks of the evolving "Shroom.” The house special pizza is topped with a grab bag of sundry ingredients while a more classical choice is the pie made with pesto sauce and mozzarella. The Gourmet White remains a favorite, with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes and lots of garlic. What underlies it all, however, is the dough, made at the central commissary using whole-grain flours and spring water, and sauces aren't doctored up with refined sugars. The sandwiches on whole-grain bread may be ordered in half versions, a real convenience. Salads are a good buy. This location serves slices daily until 2 p.m. Other locations. |
