Beau Thai Restaurant Review:
Plenty of customers patronize Beau Thai's booming takeout business, but for those who eat in, the large dining room is a peaceful, pretty space with dark wood Asian carvings and striking blue accents. On the food side, while this is not a place for cutting-edge cuisine, vegetarians will especially enjoy the wide array of meatless choices; this is one of the few Thai restaurants offering tempeh as a protein option. Other good selections include fresh and crispy salad rolls, limey chicken larb, and a satisfying platter of pad see ew. A huge bowl of tom yum soup with its fragrant coconut milk broth, vegetables, and your choice of protein satisfies on any rainy day. The rice-based Asian crêpe is filled with bean sprouts, onion, chicken and shrimp. Other dishes, such as the curries, sautéed long beans, and crispy fried beef and ginger tossed in oyster sauce are equally tasty. A small selection of wine is available, along with the usual array of local and Asian beers.
