Blackstones Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Espresso leather seating, contrasting white tablecloths, a black-and-white marble-top bar, and wood plank walls and floors set off by abstract artwork create a thoroughly modern and refined space that manages to be cool without being cold. The menu will satisfy carnivores looking for all the usual fine cuts of USDA Prime beef: porterhouse, bone-in rib, bone-in New York strip and filet mignon. Fresh raw bar precursors feature jumbo shrimp cocktail and a heaping Blackstones seafood platter. For a departure from the standard steakhouse fare or something comparably lighter, choose from a revolving lineup of soups, escargots Bourguignon, Japanese-style big-eye tuna tartare, and a refreshing melon and prosciutto di Parma. Chicken Laphroaig, chicken breast sautéed with Cognac sauce and topped with prosciutto, tomatoes, artichokes and mozzarella, and a grilled pork loin are among the steak alternatives for those going against the grain. A wine list highlighting varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends is available to complement the steaks. Traditional desserts provide a sweet conclusion to an indulgent meal.
