About the restaurant: The Roosevelt New Orleans is all about old-world glamour, but its signature restaurant, Domenica, is contemporary, sleek and minimalist. It takes "hotel dining" to the next level.

Food & Drinks: The Italian repertoire includes pizza, thin-crusted and baked in a state-of-the-art wood-burning oven that features a rotating stone deck. The "Prosciutto" featuring tomato, fresh mozzarella and arugula, and the "Bolzano" with roast pork shoulder, fennel, bacon and sweet onions are the most popular. The traditionally inspired menu also includes such antipasti as roasted cauliflower with whipped goat feta and octopus carpaccio with fennel and citrus. Try the seasonal gnocchi with locally sourced duck, almonds, cream and herbs. The kitchen highlights as many local products as possible, including fish straight from the Gulf of Mexico. Much thought is put into the wine list, which offers selections that complement the highly seasoned food. Desserts may include a lemon ricotta cake with candied kumquats, or chocolate hazelnut pudding with candied hazelnuts.
