La Bourgogne Restaurant Review:
Small hardly describes this venerable French eatery: With just ten tables, it is tiny, which only enhances its French country-style, classic, private and romantic atmosphere. Chef-owner Ron Gallagher cooks fine French fare served by his wife and business partner, Colleen Moore. We love the velvety and flaky contrasts of the baked Brie in puff pastry. The restaurant is known for its sliced breast of roast duck with raspberries and pine nuts, its traditional osso buco, and its hearty old-country French onion soup. Make sure to try the flourless chocolate cake. And, of course, here's your chance to pair your food in Hawaii with a nice French wine. If you like a restaurant where the owners are genuinely concerned and personable, as if you were dining with friends, this is one not to miss---but make your reservations early.
