Ocean House Restaurant Review:

Ocean House, boasting one of the Cape's best oceanfront views, does not need to work hard to draw customers. But the culinary team shows surprising gumption in attempting to serve cuisine as appealing as the seascape. The creative dishes don't always work, but classics such as the seafood sampler, filet with truffle fries and warm chocolate cake won't disappoint. We also like some of the more simple pasta and seafood selections: jumbo shrimp with linguine and the classic lobster roll. The wine list is not as exciting as the menu, but the bartenders mix up some stiff cocktails. You can't go wrong with a lobster and asparagus pizza and a Cape Codder shared with friends in the lounge. Desserts are also a highlight --- generous portions of comfort fare like strawberry rhubarb crumble. An outdoor beach bar offers an all-day menu.
