THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Oceanaire Seafood Room Restaurant Review:

A boisterous crowd frequents Oceanaire, where a retro design exudes the feel of a 1930s-style oceanliner. The oyster selection is one of the best in town, and includes Malpeque (Prince Edward Island), Coromandel (New Zealand) and Bluepoint (New York). Classics like Chesapeake-style crab cakes or shrimp cocktail made with giant tiger shrimp are good starters. For entrées, we like the bold flavors of the grilled Scottish king salmon “Black & Bleu" with caramelized onions and blue cheese butter, as well as the bacon-wrapped jumbo sea scallops. Try the Dutch Harbor Alaskan Halibut “Dynamite” with spicy blue crab and Screaming Rooster butter sauce. Side dishes are immense, so remember to share. We’re not crazy about the gargantuan hash browns à la Oceanaire; instead we prefer the Yukon Gold mashers and salt and vinegar fries. And you can't go wrong with the cheesy bacon au gratins. Desserts are retro-Americana: Key lime pie and warm cookies with milk.
