Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Most of the customers at this Ruth’s Chris branch on Restaurant Row are local residents and it's easy to see why --- friendly service, a generous hand in the pouring of libations and even more generous portions of Prime beef served unadorned on sizzling hot platters.
Food & Drinks: We like the cowboy rib-eye, a bone-in steak that is truly a carnivore's delight. We are not so enchanted with the side dishes, but you don't come here to eat side dishes, you come to eat steak, and steak it does well. A decent wine list that skews heavily to American choices and a full bar add whatever lubrication you need to wash down your beef. Our recommendation is to start with a classic spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette, followed by that cowboy steak, and save some room for the fresh banana pie with a white chocolate custard filling. Lighter appetites will find seafood choices and seasonal sorbets. Bring your wallet and be aware that everything is à la carte and can add up.
