Tulsi Restaurant Review:
Deep earth tones and subtle artwork and artifacts complement the menu of refined Indian fare. Start with the boti kebab, cubes of lamb marinated in dry masala and finished in the tandoor oven, or the cauliflower florets paired with house chutneys. There’s an entire bread menu with naans served with a variety of spices. Familiar dishes include tandoori chicken, a good choice for those new to Indian cuisine. One-half Cornish hen is marinated in yogurt and spices and served with grilled asparagus and yellow dal. The more adventurous can consider goat curry with mild and buttery bone-in goat braised in a flavorful spice blend. Vegetarian and gluten-sensitive diners have plenty of options. End your spice-filled meal with the mellow rice pudding to cool things down or an Indian-inspired cocktail like the Curry Manhattan. Expect a nice wine and beer list.
