Vince’s began as a four-table pizza parlor in 1960, and it remains a family-run fixture --- one where pride is evident in what's put on your plate. We've never had a bad experience at this homey spot, known for its bread, pizza and house-made pastas and sauces. Start with the antipasto, salad greens accompanied by an assortment of Italian meat and cheese, olives and fresh vegetables. Then move on to a pasta course such as the cheese-and-spinach-filled manicotti topped with the restaurant's special sauce. Or try the spinach fettuccine verde anointed with meat sauce. There are Italian dinner classics, too, including chicken cacciatore and veal saltimbocca, ham and cheese rolled in veal and sautéed in wine sauce. Want something somewhat lighter? Try the house-made soups and sandwiches, particularly the submarine and the Delmonico steak sandwich. There's a full bar and a wine selection emphasizing Italian labels with prices fitting all pocketbooks.
