This Orange Circle icon has been slinging malts and shakes from its soda fountain since 1915. The revitalized interior brings the venue into more modern times, with rich woods and thick marble tabletops providing a significantly sleeker look. Staff is friendly and the flavorful food is reasonably priced. Breakfast is offered all day --- a bonus for the students of nearby Chapman University. The rest of the menu is sprinkled with an array of satisfying sandwiches and kicked-up comfort food. Think fried chicken and herb waffles or grilled dry-aged pork chops with charred apple chutney. The creamy, cool milkshakes are a frosty must.
