Mi Pueblo, in the University Circle neighborhood, is an affordable and friendly oasis for college kids and museum-goers. Behind its unassuming storefront, though, you’ll find an enormous menu of Mexican food accompanied by an extensive south-of-the-border beer and tequila list. While the primary clientele consists mostly of college hipsters looking for cheap drinks, dishes such as the mini flautas or the pollo en mole will do in a Mexican-craving pinch. Margaritas are available by the pitcher or in three sizes: small, medium and ridiculous. If you choose the latter, don’t say you weren’t warned.
