THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Michael Collins Grill Restaurant Review:

Michael Collins draws a boisterous weekend crowd of South Beach denizens who drink, flirt, watch one of numerous TV screens and partake of satisfying food. Two separate dining room-bar areas are connected by a walkway indoors and by umbrella-shaded tables on the outside patio. The menu mixes classic Continental fare (appetizers like shrimp cocktail, spinach and artichoke dip, and oysters Rockefeller) with à la carte grill items including a delectable signature 14-ounce rib-eye and a couple of token Irish dishes (an exceptional fish 'n' chips that emits puffs of steam as the fork shatters a crystalline-crisp, beer-battered crust). The chef here is a former fish house owner and adept at producing fresh, cleanly-flavored seafood selections. Prices are fair. Desserts are okay if you like the extra-sweet variety, but save your money for the next round of beers.
