A creative menu (try the Creole egg roll, for starters) keeps the crowds coming.

Middle Grounds Grill Restaurant Review:
High ceilings overlook Middle Grounds' dark décor, with its white tablecloths and china. An attentive staff works a somewhat standard menu with an occasional surprise. Appetizers include a shrimp martini: plump shrimp, cocktail sauce and an olive garnish. We also like the Creole egg roll (blackened chicken, roasted corn, feta, cheddar, red onions and avocado crème). Try the Gun Powder onion rings. One preparation of the obligatory grouper is crusted in macadamia nuts, pistachios and walnuts and served with a mango beurre blanc and coconut basmati rice. Alligator scallops are a refreshing option --- pan-seared scallops marinated in an alligator sauce. Dessert choices are worth a nod, particularly the one selection that pays homage to the location's previous occupant: Robby's Famous Pancake Berry Stack, fluffy pancakes stuffed with berries and fresh whipped cream.
