THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mitchell's Fish Market Restaurant Review:
Understated nautical décor, a conversational buzz and primo views of fish preparations in the dining room make eating here a somewhat theatrical experience. Just-caught seafood---Alaskan Pacific salmon, yellowfin tuna from Hawaii---stars. We especially like the crunchy beer-battered shrimp and appreciate the fact that the array of fish can be prepared simply in sweet shallot butter or gussied up Shanghai-style (atop sticky rice and spinach with a splash of rice wine soy sauce). But we actually prefer going the blackened route since the accompanying etouffée sauce is quite good. For dessert, there's (perfectly tart) Key lime pie.
