Miyabi 45th boasts elegant features with wood and metal accents. The Japanese cuisine is complemented by the beer list offering local IPAs, while cocktails hint of Eastern influences, especially those made with saké and shochu. Servers are well-equipped to help diners navigate the drinks as well as the wine list, which travels around the West Coast with a small dip into France. Desserts may include green tea ice cream sandwiches with buckwheat cookies. But the cheese plate, featuring fermented tofu and miso-marinated Brie, is the best and bravest choice.
