Mizlala Restaurant Review

: “My biggest fear is to be boring,” Meir Adoni states as he explains his motivation behind opening Mizlala. Known for his bold dishes and eccentric personality, Adoni infuses Mizlala with an energy that’s palpable. For the ultimate experience, sit at the bar and set the tone for the night by ordering the "Shot and Bite," Adoni’s unique concept, pairing a shot and a bite-size dish. Then have fun with the playful mains, such as the charcoal-grilled veal filet served with sweet potato tortellini, licorice cream, red onion, coriander seeds, caramelized walnuts, celery, date chutney, Mandarin vinaigrette and chili. Desserts are just as intriguing. The “sea salt caramel terra cotta” comes with coffee and brandy foam, and a dark chocolate soufflé arrives with a raspberry jam-filled dropper. While at the bar, don't miss out on one of Mizlala's tantalizing cocktails, which include the "Grey Fizz,” a pleasing combination of gin, Earl Grey tea, lemon juice and simple syrup.
