Sit inside this stately house, amongst potted palms, ceiling fans and a candlelit piano bar; or outside on one of three wide, wraparound porches. The view reveals arched footbridges over narrow Wesley Lake and the genteel, colorful manses of Ocean Grove. The menu leans toward light and healthful fare. Fresh seafood and creative cocktails offer maximum allure. Try the pan-seared salmon served with orzo, green lentils and Swiss chard pilaf, or opt for the whole-wheat penne verdure lush with vegetables: broccoli, spinach, asparagus, fava beans and chives with Gorgonzola for accent and a creamy sauce. Desserts are homey and satisfying, especially the bread pudding topped with caramel. The wine list suits the fare and is reasonably priced. Service can be harried on summer weekends.
