Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

The Morton's chain is all about quality steaks, salads and sides with a couple of seafood items thrown in for good measure. The originator of the show-and-tell, tableside menu, Morton's lays it on thick. But it's a good thick, making it a fine place for good food and a good time in a clubby setting. After a cocktail, dive into a shrimp or jumbo (a word frequently appearing on the menu) lump crab meat cocktail to start. Chopped salad is a meal in its own. For meat and potato fans, we favor the bone-in rib-eye or the strip steak au poivre with lyonnaise potatoes. The sides are à la carte and large enough to share. For something lighter, check out the bar bites, specially priced items like blue cheese steak fries, mini crab cakes, BLTs and smoked salmon pizza, available Sunday through Friday from when the doors open until 6:30 p.m. and from 9 p.m. until close. Finish with a rich piece of cheesecake or Morton's hot chocolate cake to wind up a steakhouse dinner. The wine list features global selections and steak-friendly by-the-glass pours.
