THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Motor City Coney Island Restaurant Review:

Motor City Coney Island is an establishment known to all who hail from Detroit. Founded in 1914, the restaurant has outlets all over Motor City. But this is its only outlet in Georgia. The draw? Besides friendly service, it is the natural-casing hot dogs (there is an all-beef Kosher dog too) that pop when you bite into them. We like it with the tasty chili and onion. But Flint, Michigan, natives know the Flint Dog, topped with ground beef, but not chili. (You can also get the Coney Special, which comes topped with both ground beef and chili, but we find that gilding the lily.) Sodas are called "pop," a dead giveaway as to the restaurant's Midwestern origins, and include Faygo and Vernors. Detroit-style wings, breaded then fried, also are on offer. Beer and wine are available, but no desserts.
