This rustic, seasonally minded spot sports an open kitchen; cool, food-knowledgeable clientele; and destination-worthy dishes, from burrata ravioli with sausage and peppers to sardines escabeche and wood-grilled Wisconsin trout with bacon, clams and house-cultured butter. And there’s plenty for vegetarians to like, be it sweet corn custard with spinach, warm artichokes and polenta croutons whirled with green garlic vinaigrette, or garden chive crostini with mozzarella and oil-cured capers.
