The Lula Café crew is behind this rustic, seasonally minded spot, which sports an open kitchen; cool, food-knowledgeable clientele; and destination-worthy dishes, from spring radishes with whipped lardo to sardines escabeche and wood-grilled hanger steak with a sunny-side duck egg, farro and fried potatoes. And there’s plenty for vegetarians to like, be it sweet corn custard with spinach, warm artichokes and polenta croutons whirled with green garlic vinaigrette or garden chive crostini with mozzarella and oil-cured capers.
