THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES NYC Cravings Restaurant Review:
The line forms well before the noon lunch hour for this pale-yellow Taiwanese truck serving doughy dumplings, pork chops, fried chicken cutlets and vegetarian zongzi, a Chinese tamale wrapped with a banana leaf. Sparked with Thomas Yang’s grandmother’s “secret pork sauce,” sweet Beijing sauce, dumpling sauce or a touch of sriracha, these dishes are as close to Chinese street food as you’ll see in New York City. Rice is served with each main course item. Yang’s movable Chinese feast rocks from midtown to downtown depending on the day. Availability of dumplings varies by location.
