Old Granite Street Eatery Restaurant Review:

Old Granite Street Eatery feels like a friendly, hometown hangout. Smiles from the waitstaff greet everyone at the door; solo diners can grab a stool at the 14-seat community table in the bar area to enjoy a meal or craft brew with new friends. The menu features pub fare and comfort food intertwined with unique flavors. Aged white cheddar spills over the wood-grilled burgers; campanelle pasta comes with a kale and pumpkin seed pesto served with Basque chorizo or chicken; and pan-roasted scallops are met with pickled apple, fennel and raisin slaw. The house-made wood-grilled veggie burger with barley, mushrooms, oats, nuts and aged white cheddar is worth a drive from Lake Tahoe to downtown Reno. The menu and craft beers change seasonally so there’s always something new to sample and enjoy.
